Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This notice explains how Unpickle uses cookies and similar website technologies.
The short version
Unpickle does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or cross-site profiling.
Our ordinary website pages do not intentionally set analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare to host, protect and measure the performance of the website. We also use Cal.com for appointment booking.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides website hosting, security, traffic information and Web Analytics.
Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a JavaScript performance beacon. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies, collect visitors’ personal data or track individual visitors across different websites. It collects limited page-view and performance measurements.
Cloudflare may also process technical request information at its network edge to deliver and protect the website.
In limited circumstances, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it needs to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or malicious traffic. Depending on the security feature involved, this may include:
| Technology | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Bot and malicious-traffic protection | Approximately 30 minutes after inactivity |
cf_clearance | Records that a security challenge has been completed | Determined by the applicable security configuration |
These security technologies are not used by Unpickle for advertising.
Appointment booking
We use Cal.com to arrange appointments.
If the Cal.com booking calendar is embedded on our website, Cal.com may use cookies or similar technologies needed to display and operate the calendar. Cal.com may also collect technical and booking information as described in its privacy policy.
The calendar should only load after you choose to open it. You may instead visit Cal.com directly, in which case Cal.com’s own cookie and privacy controls apply.
Cal.com’s privacy policy is available at https://cal.com/privacy.
Form submissions
We use FormSubmit to email scorecard information to our inbox, and a Cloudflare Worker on this site to store the same submission in our Notion workspace. Neither needs to place an advertising cookie on ordinary website pages for us to receive a submission.
Your choices
You can prevent or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary security technologies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.
You can object to our use of website performance analytics by contacting [email protected].
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or behavioural technologies in future, we will update this notice and introduce an appropriate consent or objection control before using them.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the website or the services it uses change. The latest version will appear here with its updated date.
